Common questions
How do I open the Grown-ups corner?
On the title screen, press and hold the Grown-ups button for 3 seconds. A ring fills up while you hold it. This keeps settings away from little fingers.
Does the game need the internet?
No. Twinkle Town works completely offline, on planes, in the car, anywhere. It has no internet access at all.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
Never. No ads, no purchases, no subscriptions, no accounts.
How do I set bedtime or a daily play limit?
Open the Grown-ups corner and choose a bedtime, wake-up time or daily play time. When time's up, the village gets sleepy and the fairies go to bed; a game in progress always gets to finish. You can give "5 more minutes" from there too.
How do I change the learning level?
In the Grown-ups corner, pick your child's grade. The math and reading games then adjust by themselves, getting a little easier or harder as your child plays. The Progress page shows what they've been practicing.
Can we move the saved game to a new device?
Not yet. Progress is saved only on the device, which is part of how we keep your child's data private. We're looking into a safe way to move it.
How do I start over?
Grown-ups corner → Start over. This erases the houses and treasures on that device and can't be undone.
The app isn't showing up on my child's Amazon Fire tablet profile.
On Fire tablets, apps need to be added to a child's profile by a parent. Open the Amazon Parent Dashboard (or Settings → Amazon Kids on the tablet), choose your child, then Add content and pick OliBoli's Twinkle Town.
Where are the pictures my child painted?
In the game, open the Book and go to Photos. On many devices, saved paintings also appear in your device's photo gallery in an "OliBoli" album.
How do I delete my child's data?
Everything is stored only on your device. Use Start over or uninstall the app and it's gone. We never had a copy. Details are in our privacy policy.
